Frequently asked questions.

What is a Life Coach?

A life coach is a professional who helps individuals identify and achieve their personal and professional goals through guidance, motivation, and structured strategies. They work with clients to overcome challenges, create action plans, and cultivate a mindset for success and fulfillment.

Life coaches often specialize in areas such as:

  • Personal Growth & Mindset – Helping clients boost confidence, set meaningful goals, and develop positive habits.

  • Career Development – Assisting with career transitions, leadership skills, and work-life balance.

  • Health & Wellness – Supporting clients in adopting healthier lifestyles and managing stress.

  • Relationships & Communication – Offering tools to strengthen connections, improve communication, and resolve conflicts.

Unlike therapists, life coaches focus on the present and future, guiding clients toward tangible outcomes rather than analyzing past experiences. They provide accountability, encouragement, and practical steps to help individuals create the life they envision.

Do you meet clients in person or online?

I am happy to meet clients in person when the location is mutually convenient and within a reasonable distance. However, most of my client meetings take place virtually, offering flexibility and ease for scheduling

Do I need to bring anything to my appt?

For coaching sessions, all you need is an open mind and maybe a notebook to jot down insights.

For Garden Movement classes, please bring a yoga mat and any props you may need. I do have a few mats available for those who need one. 🌿

Are coaching sessions confidential?

Yes, all coaching sessions are completely confidential. Your personal thoughts, experiences, and discussions remain private, creating a safe and open space for exploration and growth. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can feel comfortable sharing without concern.

What payment method do you accept?

What is a discovery call?

A discovery call is a complimentary, no-obligation consultation designed to help us determine if we’re the right fit for coaching. It’s an opportunity to explore your goals, challenges, and how I can support you in unlocking your full potential.

How long does the call last?

Typically, the call lasts 20-30 minutes, giving us enough time to connect, discuss your needs, and outline how my coaching can help you move forward.

What will we talk about during the call?

During the discovery call, we’ll cover:

  • Your current goals and challenges

  • What you’re looking for in a coach

  • How my coaching approach can support you

  • Next steps if we decide to move forward

Is there a cost for the discovery call?

No, the discovery call is completely free—it’s simply a chance for us to connect and ensure we align before starting our coaching journey together.

What happens after the call?

If we decide we’re a great fit, I’ll share available coaching options and the next steps to get started. If it doesn’t feel like the right match, no pressure—I’m happy to offer guidance or refer you to another resource.

What does ‘Trauma Informed Yoga’ mean?

Trauma-informed yoga is a compassionate and mindful approach to yoga that acknowledges the impact of trauma on the body and nervous system. It is designed to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space where participants can explore movement and breath without feeling pressured or triggered.

Key aspects of trauma-informed yoga include:

  • Choice & Empowerment – Encouraging students to listen to their bodies and make choices that feel comfortable, rather than rigidly following instructions.

  • Safety & Sensitivity – Avoiding overly directive language, physical adjustments, or practices that might feel overwhelming.

  • Regulating the Nervous System – Incorporating grounding techniques to promote stability and ease.

  • Mind-Body Connection – Helping individuals reconnect with their bodies in a gentle, non-intimidating way.

This approach is especially beneficial for individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or stress, offering a way to process emotions and regain a sense of control and peace. 🌿✨
